This article makes an analysis of the difficulties in English Listening comprehension from phonetics, stress a nd weakening, elision, voicing, assimilation, variation, rhythm, liaison and los s of explosion, and velocity of the language in order to probe into the mystery of listening, to provide the approaches to solve the problems, therefore to impr ove listening comprehension effectively.
