| Abstract: | The spirit of Hu Xiang culture, which passes on from a teacher to a student and from generation to generation in Hu Xiang has cultivated a lot of outstanding decendants. It emphasizes on the unity of substance, function and social practice. Based on the development of Wang Chuan-shan, through Zen Guo-fan and Yang Chang-ji and to Mao Ze-dong, the spirit of Hu Xiang culture has been carried forward. It also cultivates Mao Ze-dong's special spiritual disposition and cultural qualities. This paper attempts to examine this spirit's effect on young Mao Ze-dong from the historical perspective. |
