桑塔格新感受力美学之新阐释

桑塔格在《反对阐释》的论文集里,一方面对重视作品内容忽视作品形式的传统批评方式进行强烈批判,并分析造成传统批评方式的深层原因;另一方面,她提出新感受力的美学批评方式,要求关注作品的形式,体验作品给我们带来的各种感觉：快感和不快,震惊和新奇。新感受力美学的提出,具有很强的现实意义。一方面,它为美国当下的新兴艺术的合理化建立了理论基础;另一方面,它要求关注感觉,依赖感性,对纠偏当今理性过度压抑感性、人们日常生活机械化的病症具有积极地治疗作用,为和谐人性的健康发展奠下了基础。

On the New Perspective of the Aesthetics of Sontag's New Sensibility

In her Against Interpretation and Other Essays,Sontag criticized the traditional critics＇ zeal for meaning,their eagerness to summarize contents of woks,and analysed the profound reason of the phenomenon.Sontag put forward a notion of ＂new sensibility ＂to change traditional critical mode.In her view,the right way to respond to works of art is to appreciate it as style rather than as statement.We should sensitive to style,form,structure and sensuous texture of works;and we should experience and concern the pleasant or unpleasant feelings,even shock and novelty when we appreciate the works of art.In my view,the notion of ＂new sensibility ＂ is very significant.On one hand,it laid the foundation for the new arts.On the other hand,it will remedy the morbid state of rationality to overwhelm sensibility,and cure the sense paralysis in our modern life by electrotherapy of arts in order to make everyone possess a harmony humanity.
