| Abstract: | This paper begins with the definitions of context and translation;then concentrates on the basis of discussing the types and functions of context,of exploring the criteria and processes of translation,makes a comparatively complete and thorough study of the mutual relationship between context and translation from 5 aspects:Context restricts translation;translation depends on context;and finally it points out what people should do and shouldn't do in translating. |
