The Composing of Beijing Image Space

Beijing is the birthplace of Chinese films.Ding Jun Shan,the first film in the Chinese film history was completed in the yard of a photograph studio by name of "Feng Tai",which was close to the famous "Liulichang".Ever since then,the city Beijing,bearing all the important content during the one-hundredyear course of the development of the Chinese films,began to form unique imaging characteristics and cultural connotations.There are many forms of composing the Beijing image space: the spectacular and experienced imperial capital,the common and plain civilian city,the critical and superior inside city,the prosperous and delusive metropolis of desires,and the multiple and complex city space. All these forms find their revelation through the Beijing city symbols that are rich in culture and unique in visual images.
