| 摘 要： | 精神传统是社会文化的重要组成部分,对于维系社会正常运转具有不可替代的作用。它在一国社会中体现为价值体系及其物质承担者的紧密结合,形成一股支撑社会的力量。价值体系及其物质承担者本来作为精神传统的外在彰显,在古代社会中是高度统合的。然而,自近代"五四"运动以来却遭到了全盘性反传统主义和政党伦理的挑战,这导致了现代精神传统偶发性的中断与紊乱。现代精神传统面临着内在和外在的双重困境,这给型塑现代中国的政治、经济、文化与社会带来了一系列的问题,甚至对于其自身也构成颠覆性的威胁。虽然在现代中国得到了某种程度的缓解,但其面临的形势依然严峻。危机与希望并存,现代中国新文明正可肇基于此。
