| 摘 要： | 《罗杰·马尔文的葬礼》是霍桑较少为人关注的短篇小说之一。小说以细腻的心理描写展示了鲁本·布恩在面临道德选择时的内心挣扎以及他寻求心理救赎过程中的内心痛苦。本文试图用库尔特·勒温的拓扑心理学原理来分析鲁本从堕落到救赎的"心理罗曼史",从而揭示出鲁本是在个体的本性和环境的双重作用下才完成了从堕落到救赎的过程,恢复了心理的平衡状态。

| Abstract: | Roger Malvin’s Burial is one of Hawthorne’s short stories that have been paid less attention to.By means of exquisite psychological narration,the short fiction reveals both the inner struggle of Reuben Bourne who is facing moral choice and his mental torture when he explores ways of spiritual redemption.This paper attempts to analyze "the psychological romance" of Rueben from fall to redemption by the use of Kurt Lewin’s topological psychology,thus implying it is under the combined influence of human nature and environment that he has accomplished the mental process and recovered psychological balance. |
