| 摘 要： | 1961-1971年美国在越南的除草剂行动不仅没有达到其最初的目的,反而引起了国际社会和美国国内的强烈不满和谴责,在国内反战运动和联合国日益关注环境问题的压力之下,尼克松政府被迫决定1971年彻底终止在越南战场使用除草剂。

| Abstract: | The herbicide operation of the United States in Vietnam from 1961 to 1971,not only failed to achieve its originally expected aim,but also incurred dissatisfaction and condemnation from the international community and within the United States.Under the pressure of the United Nations＇ increased concerned about environmental problems,plus the pressure of domestic anti-war movement and the shortage of herbicide,the Nixon Administration was forced to terminate the use of herbicides in Vietnam in 1971. |
