| Abstract: | This paper has Hongqi geyao (Red Flag Ballad) as its blueprint,and offers an ideological analysis of the new ballad classical texts produced in the Dayuejin Movement (Big Leap Forward Movement) in 1958.It tries to display the interaction between the then unique artistic phenomenon and politics and pinpoint the sentiments in that period and the spirituality of the Chinese people then. |
