地缘政治学概念与地理学的整体性方法

对地缘政治学概念有不同的理解视角,其中一个重要的视角就是把地缘政治视为世界政治结构和秩序的同义语,等同于世界政治的结构性条件和决策赖以提出和得以检验的国际政治环境。在这种理解下,地缘政治学的内涵表达了地理学整体性的方法。在地理学中,整体性是通过三种研究传统和兴趣达到的:人-境关系的传统;空间与过程的研究;区域地理学的传统。与此相对应,地缘政治学也有三个研究层次:人-境关系的传统;国际政治行为体相互作用的分析;行为体单元分析和国际政治上有意义的事物的空间分布研究。

Geopolitics and Geographic Holistic Approach

A long tradition of the understanding of the concept of geopolitics is to see it as an equivalent of structure and order of world politics, and thus geopolitics becomes the structural conditions and international context in which decision is made and tested. From such a perspective, the core of geopolitics well matches the holistic approach of geography. In geography this holistic tint is achieved in three ways: man-environment relationship, spatial and process studies, and regional geography. Accordingly, geopolitics may also have three levels of study: man-environment relationship, interaction analysis of international actors, actor unit analysis and distribution of internationally significant objects.
