试析当代中国宗教的几个基本问题

在不同的社会形态中,宗教的性质和作用是不完全相同的。解放后,我国的宗教已经摆脱了反动统治阶级的控制和利用成为政府联系广大信教群众的桥梁。同时,我国的宗教也努力与社会相适应、成为社会主义时期的宗教。宗教与社会主义相适应,是指在拥护中国共产党的领导,坚持走社会主义道路的前提下开展宗教活动。在社会主义历史条件下,宗教将长期存在,因此,我们必须认真贯彻宗教信仰自由政策,切实搞好民族和宗教工作以便更好地为改革开放和发展稳定的大局服务。

A Tentative Analysis of Several Problems in Religions of Contemporary China

Religions are different in nature and function in different societies. Since liberation , the religions in China have been no longer controlled and used by the reactionary ruling class and have become a bridge through which the Government contacts the masses. Meanwhile, the religious circles have tried to adapt to the society. This adaptation means that religious activities are carried out under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and by taking firmly the socialist road. Under socialist conditions, religions will exit for a long period of time. Therefore, we must carry out the free religious policy, so as to promote our opening, reform and social stability.
