| Abstract: | The influence of internet localization and machine translation upon the translation industry under the internet environment is expounded with an analysis of the variation of demands for translators in terms of quantity and profession at home and abroad. Through a comparison of the operating modes between traditional human translation and internet translation, this article puts forward proposals on how to meet the challenge of the internet for translators. |
