中国文化中的神秘主义,包括表层的巫术、魔法性质的东西和占卜术等,以及深层次的世界观和思维方式.前者在中国的神秘文化中带有工具的性质,而后者则是中国神秘文化的内核.神秘主义中存在着许多迷信,如历代的谶纬、巫蛊、八卦占卜、四柱算命、测字术、占星术、相面术、风水术中的不少内容,都是迷信,都应该加以批判和清除.但是在中国传统的术数之中,也蕴藏着一些科学的成分,它们是先民们在漫长的农耕文明时代对自然、社会、人生的经验及其规律的总结,并非全然是迷信.

On the Mysticism in Chinese Culture

The mysticism in Chinese culture ranges from witchcraft, magic, divination to people's outlook on the world and their mode of thinking. The former serves as presentation of Chinese mystical culture while the latter is the core of it. Superstitions prevail among the mystical culture. All through the dynasties, the Eight Diagrams, astrology, geomantic omen, to name only a few, all contains superstitious beliefs. Nevertheless, the various practices contain scientific elements. Therefore, they should be treated critically, with the superstitious elements abandoned, the rational and scientific components highly appreciated for they are manifestations of the Chinese wisdom which were accumulated by our forefathers throughout the Farming Age.
