| Abstract: | In order to oppose their common enemy Cao Kun and Wu Pei - fu of the Zhi Clique, as well as Duan Qirui of the Wan Clique, Sun Yat - sen of the Guangdong camp established the Sun - Duan Alliance. The secondary figure Xu Shuzheng of the Wan Clique played a vital role in organizing the Sun - Duan Alliance, who was not only the main planner but also the main promoter and implementer of the Union. |
