金融自由化与发展中国家的经济发展

本文通过对金融自由化理论的考察，对菲律宾和泰国实施金融改革过程的介绍和结果的比较，分析了金融自由化政策，尤其是利率市场化政策的实施条件，指出了发展中国家在金融改革过程中值得重视的几个问题，对如何充分发挥金融自由化政策促进经济发展的作用进行了探讨。

Financial Freedom and Economic Development of Developing Nations

Proceeding from an examination of the theory of financial liberalization and an analytical comparison between the Phillippines and Thailand in terms of their process of financial reform and in light of their results, this paper dwells uPOn the conditions for applying the policy of free finance, in particular the marketization of rate of interest. Some issues are put forward as noteworthy for developing nations in their process of financial reform. A theoretical discussion is rendered with a view to a full play of the liberal-finance POlicy in promoting economic performance.
