明清拟话本小说中的烈女形象类型初探

受明清礼教贞节观的影响,该时期拟话本小说中出现了大量的烈女形象,依据守贞程度的不同,可将其分为传统贞节观下的烈女和变通贞节观下的烈女两种形象,其中传统型烈女形象又可分为夫死殉节型、遇暴即死型等。烈女形象真实地反映了明清时期贞节观对女子的摧残程度,作为当时社会官方思想、市民心态、女性心理的剪影,烈女形象是贞节观念极端化的产物。

Chastity views required by ethical codes in Ming and Qing Dynasties gave rise to vast numbers of chastity woman images in vernacular short novels over this period.In accordance with the chastity degree of a woman,chastity woman images are composed of traditional chastity women and flexible chastity women.The former is then divided into two types: those who die for chastity when their husbands pass away and those who die immediately when they suffer violence.Chastity women images expose the extent to which women were devastated by chastity views in Ming and Qing Dynasties.As the silhouette of the official ideology,the public mind and the female psychology in that society,chastity women images are products of extreme chastity views.
