Survival is the precondition and foundation of all human actions. To survive is to gain. Confucian governance mode＇s emphasis moral good over gains is bound to fail. Morality is a kind of survival rationality,and the core of moral education is education about gains. Therefore,survival needs and survival rules should be considered and included in moral education. The key to improving social morality is to try to unify the efforts to gain and efforts to seek goodness.
