The Characteristics of Guan School in Lv Nan's Neo-Confucianism

Lv Nan academic origins was Cheng - Zhu＇ s neo - Confucianism that emphasizing the principles of ＂Gewuqiongli＂ （the cognition by instinct and the cognition by deduction） and ＂knowledge prior to action＂, but he also inherited the style of Zhang Zai＇ s Guan School that focusing on ＂practicing etiquette and advocating moral integrity＂. Furthermore the thought of Lv Nan reflected more characteristics of Guan School, specifically, attaching importance to the learning of the Confucian classics and emphasizing on practice.
