隰朋事迹考

隰朋是春秋时期齐桓公朝的重要大臣,他与管仲、鲍叔牙、宁戚、宾胥无同为卿大夫。管仲生病之后,隰朋接替管仲的职位,全面管理齐国朝政。根据上博简(五)《鲍叔牙与隰朋之谏》,他和鲍叔牙在一段时间内成功阻止了齐桓公对竖刁、易牙的任用,对齐国继续保持强盛的势头作出了贡献。

A study on Xipeng

Xipeng was one of a stateman in Qihuangong time in Chunqiu dynasty. He was a strategist and a diplomat. He was honest and wisdom. After Guanzhong, another politial man was ill, Xipeng took the plaee of Guanzhong, and managed the Qi country. But shortly after Guanzhong dead, Xipeng was dead too. Xipeng s politial talent was dimitted hy Qihuangong and other people. According hamboo books of Baoshuya and Xipengs' suggestion, Xipeng and Baoshuya succeed preventing Qihuangong from Yiya and Shudiao assuming the post. Xipeng put an important part to the Qi country.
