额济纳元钞考察记(二)

黑城原为西夏所建,至元代从一座军事塞堡演进为商业城市。在这里宋元瓷器碎片遍布全城,可见当年的城市生活和商业活动是非常繁盛的,而多次发现元代纸币则是繁盛商业的直接反映。在额济纳见到了多种元钞,其中一张至元通行宝钞壹贯是国内仅此一张的文物,因而为我国文物宝库又增加了一个新的品种。

An Investigation into the Banknotes of Yuan Dynasty in Erjina

Hei Cheng was originally built up by Xi Xia, and was developed to a commercial city in the Dynasty of Yuan. Chips of porcelains could be found everywhere in Hei Cheng, which tells us the flourishing of the urban life and business activities that years, while the banknotes found many times is a direct sign of the prosperous commerce. Among kinds of banknotes in Yuan Dynasty found in Erjina, a banknote of "Zhiyuan Tongbao" is unique and has added a new variety to Chinese artifact repository.
