| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the present situation of the income of farmer households in China and the limiting factors for its increase. Some countermeasures are offered accordingly, i.e. acceleration of urbanization, development of rural enterprises, re-structuring of agriculture, promotion of the substantial reform of rural taxes and fees and innovation of rural financial services. |
