In London Maritime Arbitration,security for costs is a very useful system which is used to protect the successful respondent's legal right.Based on 1996 English Arbitration Act, the system is reformed: the court has no power to order security for costs any more, but it is conferred to the arbitration tribunal as a new statutory power.
