现代民族共同体的想象与认同——论“十七年文学”的现代性品格

20世纪80年代至今,现代性理论成为中国思想文化研究中的一大热点,也导致了中国现当代文学研究由革命-政治性叙事话语向现代性-文化叙事话语的转型。在这一转换中,“十七年文学”以及作为其渊源的30年代左翼文学,却被许多研究者认为不具备现代性而受到冷落和摈弃。实际上,中国的现代进程,具有独特的中国现代性的品格,在相当长时段里,是以现代民族国家的建立为中心的。相应地,中国现当代文学的重要命题,是对现代民族共同体和未来中国的独立强大的热烈想象,以及热切认同和赞颂。这一特性与世俗现代性、启蒙现代性、反思现代性、审美现代性等,共同构成现代性的多重因素。

Imagination and Identification of Modern National Community--On the Modernity of the "Seventeen - Year Literature"

The theory of modernity has been one focus in the studies of Chinese thoughts and culture since the 1980s. It also leads to the transformation from the revolutionary-political discourse to the modern-cultural discourse. In this process, the “Seventeen-Year Literature” and the Left-Wing Literature as its source are neglected and excluded for having no modernity. Actually, one of the important themes of modern and contemporary Chinese literature is enthusiastic imagination, identification and praise of the modern nation-state and the future China. This character, together with the secular modernity, enlightening modernity, reflectional modernity and aesthetic modernity, constitute the multiple aspects of modernity.
