| Abstract: | Language as an information carrier plays an important role in social communication. In order to carry out the language communication smoothly, it's necessary to observe some principles of language use and the norms of spoken and written language are the most basic principles that must be observed. This paper discusses such problems as the implications and the functions of the norms, and specific connotations of the norms of spoken and written language. |
