| Abstract: | Traditional teaching modes of extensive reading course have fettered the development of students' self-awareness and autonomy and caused their lack of learning strategies, self-reliance and creation. Based on the theory of strategy training, this paper, from the angle of the second language acquisition, introduces a new Strategies-Based Instruction (SBI) teaching mode-Integrating Strategic Reading in L2 Instruction (ISRI) to English teachers and students, and aims to improve both teaching and learning quality. |
