| Abstract: | Hu Shi developed his views on history of Ci poetry on two bases. One is literary evolution, the other is the recycle theory which held that literary forms originated from folk and ended up by literary men. This view of history of Ci poetry is basically true to the fact. Research on Ci poetry after liberation has still been more or less under the influence of his view. |
