桐城派文论与《文心雕龙》的暗合——徐复观《文心雕龙》研究扩展

The Coincidence of Literary Theory of Tongcheng School and The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons

The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons is a giant of the ancient Chinese literary theory, and Tongcheng school is a huge sectarian of modern Chinese article theory. As a modern representative of Confucianism com- mitted to Chinese literature, Xu Fuguan is closely connected with both of them. He made a profound studyon the rela- tionship between the literary theory of Tongcheng School and The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons, and con- cluded they have many in common, especially in stylistics and Wenqi theory. Tongcheng School has an obvious inheritance and innovation of The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons. Through careful inspection and analysis of the rela- tionship between Tongcheng school and the The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons, Xu Fuguan wanted to track the ancient and modern literature development and the communication between Chinese and Western literary theories with the aim to make a foundation for the establishment of Chinese modern literary theories.
