论班固的经济思想

有人认为,班固的经济思想主要是崇尚"安贫乐道"。其实不然,班固既重视农业,又重视工商业,提出了"食货二本"的新思想,认为"食足货通,然后国实民富",重视经济对国家盛衰的决定作用。他主张优先发展农业,工商业不能伤害农业,更不能靠不正当手段经商致富。主张国家要发挥对农工商的调控和管理职能,为防止经济领域的不正当活动,要对人民进行"贵谊贱利"等思想教育,以便把人们引到上下有等的农工商协调发展的理想的社会秩序之中。
