| Abstract: | This paper makes for the first time an overall and careful study of the conditions of the scholars' imperial examination in the Nan Tang Dynasty, basing on the records of the history of the Tang Dynasty and the Song Dynasty, the notes on poetry,the collected works of an individual and anthologies, and the materials concerned, and imitating the style of Xu Song's Accounts of Passing the Civil-service Examination. It can be regarded as a supplement to Accounts of Passing the Civil-service Examination. |
