| 摘 要： | 租界警察作为租界的重要管理机构，是西方现代警察制度引入中国的一个窗口，是中外警察制度的一个重要的历史连接点。租界警察在客观上为清末警政提供了一个范本，租界警察不仅对清末的警政思想和实践产生了直接影响，而且影响了清末京师警察机构的建立。租界警察对清末警察建立的各种影响，既是中国传统治安模式接受西方现代警察制度的改造，也是当时西方国家体制对中国管理体制影响的一个缩影。
