摘    要:综述有关二语习得中存在的普遍现象和外语教学作用的研究,讨论其对大学英语教学改革的启示。认为大学英语教学改革应从加强师资培训入手,让教师掌握二语习得的规律,并且应体现因材施教的原则.实施分级教学,在具体教学环节中应该重视应用二语习得的研究发现,改进教学方法,重视语用教学。

Abstract:On the basis of the review of studies on the universals in second language acquisition and the limited effects of foreign language instruction, this paper presents the implications for the college English teaching reform. The priority should be placed on strengthening the English teachers' training to help them understand the second language acquisition. Moreover, the research findings in second language acquisition studies should be applied to the college English teaching, such as students should be taught according to their developmental stages. Finally, the importance should be attached to the teaching of second language pragmatic competence.
