| Abstract: | English political comments are formal in style. Their textual functions find expressions in title,subtitle,quotation,deixis,modality,reference,litotes,relative clause,nominalization and the like,for the sake of clarifying political grounds. The study of such textual functions can help people understand stylistics in politics,work better in posts related to international exchange,and combine better theory and practice. |
