The poems dedicated to temples and monks in Jin Dynasty reflect the penetration and merging of Buddhism and Zen into literature.Such kind of poems consists of three major types: expression of yearning for pure land and worshipping Buddhism and Zen by dedication towards a temple stele and by describing the surrounding environment;expression of feelings on worldly affairs and of temperament by the same means;and expression of profound feelings and friendship between literati and monks and of yearning for Buddhism and Zen by the poems.Although these poems reflect different profoundness in understanding of Buddhism,they all reflect the notable influence on poems in Jin Dynasty by Buddhism and Zen.
