论高校在构建和谐社会中的地位与作用

党的十六届四中全会提出构建社会主义和谐社会的重要思想和战略任务，十六届六中全会作出关于构建社会主义和谐社会若干重大问题的决定，十七大又提出深入贯彻落实科学发展观，积极构建社会主义和谐社会与建设和谐文化，培育文明风尚的新要求，十七大修正的新党章总纲也增写了党领导人民构建社会主义和谐社会的新内容。高校具有人才培养、科技创新、社会服务的功能，在构建社会主义和谐社会这项长期历史任务中，应该承担起义不容辞的责任和义务。
