| 摘 要： | 县域特色产业是县域经济的重要组成部分,发展县域特色产业是壮大县域经济、解决"三农"问题的重要途径。受多种因素的影响,中国广大的西部地区经济发展还比较落后。发展西部县域特色产业是践行科学发展观的具体体现,对实施西部大开发战略、促进西部地区经济的科学发展跨越发展和谐发展、全面建设小康社会具有非常重要的意义。文章探讨了特色产业的内涵、特征、发展周期、发展机制、发展趋势,针对西部地区县域产业发展存在的主要问题,根据其资源优势,提出了西部地区县域特色产业发展的总体思路与工作策略。
