With the increasingly fast development of the world economy globalization,financial liberalization and global capital movement,the pace of the banking industry internationalization has been quickened by a big margin which has resulted in a far-reaching influence on the world economy.In order to ascertain the theory and causes of the banking internationalization among the world,this article first summarizes related theories about international trade,capital movement,international investment and industrial organization.Then it analyzes the causes of the banking internationalization at different angles including financial service and financial innovation.Finally,the paper examines the process of the banking industry internationalization focusing on with its modern stage,pointing out that such factors as the rise of the Euro-dollar market,the financial innovation and financial liberalization have been promoting the development of the banking industry internationalization.
