On Xiao Tong's Reception to Tao Yuanming

In this thesis, the writer researched Xiao Tong's contribution to Tao Yuanming Scholarship systematically. The author considered that Xiao Tong had finished the course of modeling on Tao Yuanming as a hermetic scholar, Xiao Tong's studies had raised of Tao Yuanming Scholarship to a philosophical level, and he had opened a new glorious chapter in history of Tao Yuanming Scholarship. Xiao Tong's academic research reached the peak of Tao Yuanming Scholarship in Northern and Southern Dynasties. In the meantime, the writer analysed Xiao Tong's psychology of reception to Tao Yuanming .
