How to appraise Qu Yuan is always one of the important issues debated unceasingly in the academic circles about Chu Ci.Zhu Xi concentrated his own viewpoints in such a matter in Chu Ci Ji Zhu.This article,by reference of Zhu Xi's golden mean and his way of review,make an analysis of his unique way of thinking,from criticizing Qu Yuan at first to praising him later,so as to show the similarities and the differences between Zhu Xi and other predecessors in this aspect.This article affirms his highlights while reveals his limitation.
