摘    要:科学教育思潮是盛行于“五四”时期的一种教育思潮,其孕育、萌芽、形成、高涨和践行的过程是近代中国社会发展和科学进步的必然结果。它的基本主张是:抨击传统教育弊端,大力倡导科学教育;阐明科学的内涵、功能与价值,确立了近代意义的科学观;传授科学内容,弘扬科学精神,重视科学方法。它促进了中国教育近代化和科学化的发展历程,同时也对当代科学教育的发展具有启示和借鉴意义。

Abstract:The current of science education thought prevailed during May 4th Period.The process of its gestation,germination,formation,climax and practice is an inevitable result of neoteric Chinese social development and the scientific improvement.Its basic concept is to attack traditional educational abuses in order to spark plug scientific education;to clarify scientific connotation,function,and value in order to establish neoteric meaningful scientific ideology;to spread scientific contents,develop scientific spirits, and emphasize scientific methods.It accelerates the developing process of Chinese educational modernizatioo and scientificity.At the same time,it can be used for the reference to the development of contemporary education.
