英语词汇教学中发展学生智能的探讨

智能是指人对客观事物认识、理解的能力，它包括记忆、观察、想象、思考、判断等。教师应在传授知识的同时发展学生的智能，英语教师也不例外。在英语教学的过程中应力求使学生“学而有思”，注重激发学生的创造力和想象力。笔者在英语词汇教学中发展学生智能方面作了一些尝试：一启发学生利用构词法辨析词义，二．提高学生“词不离句”的英语识字能力，三．鼓励学生通过丰富的联想牢记单词。这种以发展学生智能水平为目的的词汇教学使学生对英语学习发生浓厚兴趣，有助于学生英语水平的迅速提高。

A discussion on How to Improve the Intelligence of Students during English Vocabulary Teaching

The paper maiuly discusses how to improve the students' intelligence during the vocabulary teaching. Three steps are mentioned in the essay. First, make use of the rules of the word structure to teach, to learn and to memorize the new words; Second, try to guess the meanings of some words according to the context; Third, do as much association as possible while leaning and memorizing new words. This kind of teaching has made tLhe students become more and mor interested in English leaming, which will greatly contribute to tLheir improvement in English learning.
