西方心理学的缺陷在于其强硬立场和高傲姿态,拒绝包括文化在内的外来资源介入所带来的学术上借鉴;本土心理学尽管在一定程度上可弥补西方心理学文化缺失不足,但又易于陷入封闭性和保守性,无力于拓展文化边界.跨文化研究以文化品格为前提,取文化比较之长,舍心理学无文化之短,有望为开辟心理学研究新视野、新方向和新途径提供契机.

The defect of Western Psychology is its uncompromising stand and proud position, refusing any technology come from other resources, including cultures. Indigenous psychology can make up for this defect to some extend, but it is conservative and closed, which is unable to expand the culture. Cross-culture research is based on the quality of culture, providing the chance for the new horizon, new direction and new approach for psychology.
