| 摘 要： | 土建工程文献的翻译主要涉及工可、标书、合同等文献。此类文献行文正式、严密、规范 ,译文当尽量信于原文、达于原文和切于原文。为此结合工程翻译实践就土木工程术语翻译进行了简要探讨 ,意在提醒相关译者注意以下事项 :力戒望文生义、望文生译 ,慎译行话、惯用语、新词新语 ,于无意处“捡拾”现成译文 ,批判地审视部分参考译文 ,审读原文并于必要时进行补台 ,科学对待工具书等

| Abstract: | The style of civil engineering literature, usually formal and rigorous, has to conform to its special standard. Its translation is then required to be as much true to the original as possible. This paper gives a brief discussion on how to translate/interpret civil engineering terms with the purpose of alerting would be translator/interpreter to the possible pitfalls, and providing them with some tips gained from experiences. |
