习俗、迷信与科学:风水传统形象的近代分化

就风水层面而言，在近代社会舆论中，原本居于重要地位的风水发生了形象分化:顽固保守势力仍然固守着作为信仰的风水传统，趋新势力以及西方传教士则斥风水为迷信、谬说，风水师与少数西方人则看到了风水具有科学性的一面。透过近代有关风水问题的争论，可以看到风水传统在社会各群体眼中的形象，进而分析该形象产生的原因，以期探讨传统的近代变迁问题。

Faced with?the influx of Western?science and technology,?Chinese traditions have undergone some major?changes in modern time. Let us take Fengshui, one of the most important traditions of China as an example. People’s ideas towards Fengshui vary. The?conservative and stubborn taking it as a belief, The new forces?and?western missionaries denouncing it as superstitious and absurd, the specialist and?a few Westerners thinking it scientific?or quasi-scientific. The modern?debate on?fengshui reflects the image of?fengshui?in the?eye of modern people. By analyzing the causes?of the?image?produced, we can get some insights on the changes of tradition in modern time
