| Abstract: | This paper introduces the concept of bilingual education in hope of achieving a beaer understanding of the real meaning of it.From a sociolinguistic point of view this essay also discusses and analyzes the recent phenomenon of the bilingual instruction in both English and Chinese in mainland China.Some pedagogical implications for the current English teaching in China are also presented. |
