| Abstract: | Zhenjiang, located on the southern bank of the Yangtze River, is a famous historic city. Yet it has remarkable northern characteristics in material life, customs, language and culture because a large number of migrants had been keeping on moving in from the North since Qin Dynasty, which had great influence on Zhenjiang's social life, especially on its economic development. |
