再论现代新儒家的理想、困境与迷失

摘    要:现代新儒家第三代代表人物对儒学现代处境的评估,在上个世纪八十年代以后,已摆脱了其前辈之悲 观情绪的影响,变得乐观起来,以至于认为儒学似已走出现代困境,由"一阳来复"开始走向全面复兴。而他们之所 以乐观地评估儒学的现代处境,与他们认识上的三个迷失--错将所谓儒学研究热当作儒学复兴热、错将儒学复 兴希望主要寄托在所谓儒学见证人身上、错将普通民众基本的道德认同视为民间儒学的普遍存在--有密切的关 系。具体分析这三个认识的迷失之所在,有利于揭示使儒学走出现代困境的切实可行的途径。

Abstract:Since the 80s of last century, the third generations of the representatives of neo-Confucianism have assessed optimistically the situation of Confucianism in modern time. Getting rid of the influence of their ancestors' pessimistic emotion they think that the study of Confucianism has stepped out of its difficult position, from its utmost downturn to its utmost prosper ousness. The reason for them being so should be related closely to the three cacodoxies in their cognition-taking the trend of Confucianism study as the trend of Confucianism renaissance, placing all their hope of Confucianism renaissance on the so called eyewitnesses of Confucianism and mistakenly taking the basic moral identification of the mass as a ubiquity of folk Confucianism. Analyzing the reason for these three misunderstandings will be beneficial to the discovery of a practical and feasible way which can help Confucianism out of its modern bewilderment.
