翻译出版牛津版《技术史》的前前后后

英国牛津版《技术史》是科技史领域的世界名著。20世纪80年代中叶,中国学者即组织翻译。6所工科院校出版社经历重重困难,用9年时间联合出版了后3卷简本。20世纪初,上海科技教育出版社投入大量人力、物力和财力,重新组织了翻译出版,仅用3年时间7卷精装本全部出齐,为繁荣国家学术研究作出贡献。
