| 摘 要： | 英语报刊标题的语言有其自身的风格。其主要特点是:用词简洁,语法独特,修辞丰富、标点巧用。这些特点给非本族的英语学习者阅读英语报刊造成了一定的困难,即使他们学习英语已定多年。这篇文章从词汇、语法、修辞和标点四个方面对这些特点进行了探索。

| Abstract: | The language of English journalistic headlines has a style of its own, which is characterized by succinctness in words, uniqueness in grammar, richness in rhetoric, and cleverness in punctuation. These features constitute a challenge to non-native English learners even though they have learned English for many years. This paper investigates these features from lexical, grammatical, rhetorical and punctual aspects. |
