意淫--审美痴迷之境

《红楼梦》中贾宝玉的性格特征之一 :意淫 ,向来无解。这一词语当系曹雪芹的创造。意淫在《红楼梦》中是指贾宝玉的审美痴迷之境 ,是对女性美的顶礼膜拜 ,是相对于“肉淫”而言的痴情的审美、爱美 ,而非性欲的占有 ;是超越“欲”的刺激、挣脱“礼”的束缚、基于较高文化素养的人情真谛。“意淫”特征的揭示 ,表现了曹雪芹超前的审美情感和离经叛道的审美胆识。

Yiyin--The State of Aesthetic Infatuation

Yiyin, one kind of consious licentiousness, is one of Jia Baoyu's characteristics in A Dream of Red Mansions, and up to now it hasn't been explained yet. Yiyin the term should be created by Cao Xueqin, the author. In his book Yiyin means the state of Jia Baoya's aesthetic infatuation and expresses his homage to the female beauty, which is the opposite of physical liceatiousness, but not related with sexual desire.Yiyin is one of the true meaning of sensibilities which is based on the higher cultural accomplishment, and it has surpassed the stimulation of "desire" and struggled to get free from "courtesy". The discovery of the feature of "Yiyin" has expressed Cao Xueqin's preforward aesthetic emotion and his aesthetic courage in departing from the tradition.
