英文求职信语篇态度资源的评价意义分析

摘    要:应用评价理论对英文求职信进行态度资源评价意义的分析,发现求职者在信的各部分使用不同的态度资源传递积极的评价意义,影响读者/雇主的态度并努力与之构建和谐一致的人际关系,证明了评价理论是强有力的语篇分析理论,也有助于指导英文求职信的写作教学。

Abstract:Guided by the Appraisal Theory, positive evaluative Meanings of Attitude resources passed through different attitude resources in separate parts of English Cover Letters by candidates. The candidates make their efforts to infl uence the readers' attitude and construct harmonious interpersonal relationships by rich attitude resources. Appraisal Theory proves effective to analyze discourses and helpful to teach English cover letters writing.
